The purpose of this research is to analyze the food security situation in Pakistan in terms of the three known aspects of availability, affordability and quality & safety. Moreover, a detailed analysis of food insecurity across provinces and rural-urban areas of Pakistan will be carried out. Subsequently, policy implications will be derived based on the research findings.
