dc.description.abstract |
The research is carried out for the development of Environmental Management System at a 5- Star Hotel in Lahore. The detailed study of the hotel revealed that it is not ISO 14001: 2015 certified and does not even follow green practices. Health and Safety programs along with Emergency preparedness programs and training sessions take place within the vicinity of the hotel. The detailed study of the hotel included aspect/ impact analysis; health and safety and emergency preparedness trainings for workers to help them deal with any hazard or emergency situation. The environmental parameters that play an important part in EMS are noise levels, illumination levels, humidity levels, solid waste management, drinking water analysis and waste water analysis. |
